The Nine Lives of Chloe King

Hey everyone!

I hope you are al having a fantastic Halloween week-end! I for one didn't celebrate it, since here in France it's not a tradition, so I spent Sunday evening watching the first two episodes of "The Nine Lives of Chloe King" and got inspired by Chloe's make up, so here's my interpretation of it.

I hope you like it!

I started off by priming my eyes and adding a champagne shadow to the center of my lid:

Then I added a light rusty-orange color to the outer corner and highlighted my inner corner and brow-bone with a golden white color.

After that I added a darker rusty-orange to my crease:

And to finish off the look I put on some black eyeliner on my top lash-line and a skin-toned liner to my water line and voilĂ !

I hope you guys enjoyed it!

Love,

Nina

Halloween Look - Cleopatra

Hey everyone!

We're already in the middle of October and I thought it was appropriate to do a Halloween-inspired make up look. I chose one of the timeless costumes: Cleopatra!

I hope you enjoy.

The first step is to prime your eyes using a base that will prevent the make up from smearing and will keep it on all night. The next move is to draw a thin line from you tear-duct to your temple using a black liner, but if you're not confident you can make a clean line you can always use white to sketch it out:

Then take a light gold eyeshadow and apply to the inner third of you lid and a darker gold eyeshadow and apply it to the rest of your lid:

Once that is done, take your white liner again and join the end of your upper lashline with the tip of your cat-eye. Then fill in the line as thick as you want it to be, before filling i the remaining gap with the white pencil:

Once that is done, take a bright blue/turquoise eyeshadow and cover the white with it.

Then you can curl your lashes and apply mascara. If you think your liner isn't neat enough you can take an eyeliner brush and some eye make up remover and clean up around it.

To be quite honest, I wasn't very happy with how this look turned out, so I decided to clean up the inner part of the eye on the bottom and line the lash-line in black and add some false lashes. Here's the final look:

I hope you enjoyed this, and let me know if you're planning on beyond Cleopatra for Halloween!

Love,

Nina.
